Target Topics | Roman Missal Presentations
October through November 2011

Beginning the weekend of October 15-16 all parishes will be asked to conduct targeted presentations which directly address those changes in the ritual that most affect the faithful. These presentations are to be made at all Masses through November 19-20. 

The presentations may be made either by the pastor or a delegated representative. They are to be offered either at a time preceding the celebration of Mass, or during the homily. These presentations should also be reproduced and included in the appropriate bulletin.

*Because the weekend of October 15-16 will also include the introduction of the revised Gloria at Mass, you may wish to consider the most appropriate time at which to make the presentation on the Introductory Rites.  In those parishes which will teach a new musical setting of the Gloria, before Mass, it is recommended that the presentation be incorporated into the homily.
